In the runup to the University of Miami’s 100th birthday, we asked Canes across the country to share their favorite places, people, and experiences during their time as students at the U. Dozens of you, graduates from the mid-1950s right up to 2024, offered a kaleidoscope of memories: evenings at the Rat, Saturdays at the Orange Bowl, adventures in “plumbing the vast world of human knowledge”—and advice for current students on how they can make the most of their time on campus.
