'Canes Connect

This past spring, close to 500 alumni and friends came together at ’Canes Connect events in 15 ’Canes Communities throughout the country. ’Canes Connect events hosted in communities around the country provided opportunities to learn from industry experts and fellow alumni on career development for various stages of life and how to leverage the ’Canes network to build your professional brand.

From successful entrepreneurs to experts on innovation, featured speakers included LaFontaine Oliver, B.B.A. ’99, CEO of New York Public Radio (New York), David Mullings, B.S. ’00, M.B.A. ’03, CEO of Blue Mahoe Holdings (Orlando), and Norma Kenyon, University of Miami vice provost for Innovation (Palm Beach County), among others.
